Many years ago when I was a young and grateful mother of one little boy, I oftentimes wished there was a ‘nice old lady’ with a child’s cot somewhere to be found. She would take us in for a few days, rest and renewal, after which we would return home once again to our normal life. She would ask no questions. Dreaming more than wishing of course. Leaving would have been easy, returning home unthinkable having absconded.

Thing is, nowadays, I get to be that ‘old lady’ (hopefully nice!) I wished for back then. Utterly fascinating!! I ask no question too. Providing a safe space for folk is easy for me to do. I know exactly what they need!!

Wonderful Father God takes all of our wishes and like freshly cut flowers places them on His beautiful Heart bringing all things to fruition in His own day and time. 

I am becoming what I needed through God’s glorious grace!! What a gift. To be with Jesus and be sent out!

Holy Spirit fill me and use me for the greater glory of God. Amen
